Hotel Warszawa Art Fair - SAVE THE DATE
09.09.2022
Hotel Warszawa Art Fair is the city’s first contemporary art fair to be hosted on the premises of an iconic hotel. One entire floor of the Hotel Warszawa – an architectural gem that hails back to the pre-war history of Poland’s capital city – will bring together art collectors and the public at large for a unique show of contemporary art curated by 20 individual galleries. Each gallery at the fair will fill its own hotel room with a specially curated exhibition of solo, duo and trio shows from their most vibrant artists. This unique formula has already been proven a smashing success in other global metropolises, such as the Gramercy Hotel in New York or the Felix Art Fair at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.
This year sees the inauguration of War- saw’s own spin on the hotel art fair formula, featuring dozens of works from Polish and in- ternational artists represented by our partner galleries. The event has been made possible thanks to a collaboration between gallerists Gunia Nowik from the Gunia Nowik Gallery and Marta Kołakowska from LETO, Justyna Wesołowska and Marika Zamojska from the Polana Institute, along with the Likus Hotel and Restaurant Group.
The event seeks to draw in an audience of collectors above all – the art collectors who keep the Polish art market buzzing and keep it growing bigger and more dynamic each year after year. The Hotel Warszawa Art Fair is also a platform for curators, critics and
audiences to interact and exchange ideas on art, and to participate in discussions with leading artists and curators.
The Hotel Warszawa Art Fair opens on Friday evening (09.09) with a VIP Preview and extends throughout the entire weekend. Admission to the fair is open to all and free of charge.
